College is a time for new faces and endeavors. Among this whirlwind of unfamiliarity, being in a sorority can help brighten your path. Our sorority has helped young women adjust to college life for over fifty years. Sigmas will give you the opportunity to grow as a leader, give back to the community, as well as discover a support system unlike any other.
About Rush
What is rush?
Rush is a 2 week period for us to get to know you! We recruit new members at the beginning of every semester. During our rush events, you will have the opportunity to connect with our sisters and get to know our values, philanthropy, and more.
Am I eligible to rush?
To rush at Gamma Chapter, you must be enrolled at the University of Texas at Austin and have a GPA of 2.5 or higher. We encourage students of all backgrounds to join.
How do I qualify for a bid?
To qualify, you must attend 2 out of the 4 official events, complete an interview, and fill out a short application. Most importantly, come out and be yourself! We're so excited to get to know you and show what we're all about!
Meet Beta Phi's New Member Director
